Root following instuctions but still cant root

I feel like I have followed all the instructions to rook my nook color. I see the files on the sd card. The only thing I think might be the problem is that my micro card is 4gb and the only file I can find for the cw file for the Nook running on the new update only has a choice for 1gb. Do I really need to go buy a 1gb card? Is that a big enough card for that file and the manualnooter?

I boot with the card in and it just loads the nook to the home screen as usual. I don't get the CWM options.

I have a droidx with the rooted ginger. so I am familiar with clock works menus and such.

Please help me.. I have a few more days to decide to keep this thing or not. I really want to run netflix on it. I have it on my phone with the apk that was released before it went to market with the update. I hope that will work once it is rooted.

Thank ... I did finally do this last night. I got it working and manualnootered. tried netflix from market. It wouldnt show video .. only sound at fast speed. I tried to load the apk I have from my phone the one leaked before the market release. It says unsupported format. I tried it from my card and from the internal memory. This is important. I need to load apps. My whole goal is to be able to watch stuff on here and not tie up my phone anymore having to stop what my kids and I are watching to anwser a call.

Also dont see link to get the roms everyone seems to be on cm7 or phiremod.

I forgot to say that after I had it working for about an hour it then started bootlooping and I had to factory wipe to get back. I was up till 4 am messing with it. The only thing I have on the card I used is the CWM and Manualnooter zip.
