Font data collection upon restarting phone

Last night my phone, while on opera, did the whole font data gathering thing. Later I had to restart the phone and afterwards it did it again. Then this morning my phone died and upon being plugged in it did the font gathering thing again. What gives?

So far 42 minutes have gone by since I restarted and the data font thing is only at 21 percent. Gaaahhh.

Try changing font size to small. I did that and it worked. It was giving me the same problem today. As soon as you open opera open the settings before it starts doing the font data gathering

Thanks, so I have to endure tiny fonts if I wish to avoid this problem? I guess I should just never let my fone die again. =)

EDIT: switched to small fonts and still experiencing font collection. I didn't even restart my phone this time.

Now the font thing happens as soon as I open opera.

i've never had it collect font data before....i use chrome or dolphin though...
