Root Font Mod

Ok title kinda explains it. But is it really a mod or just an edit? Dont guess it matters. Been playing with our system fonts xml to have some fonts preloaded in to our display panes font panel. heres what i got so far. not sure its even worth a share. all you got to do is edit in to the system font xml any font you want preloaded. heres a screen of just some ive preloaded. some suck. some dont to be honest.

I will share my edit if anyone wants it. got abot 30 megs of fonts preloaded. although some suck and will probably be deleted.

edit just realized they closed that thread and merged it with the one for 6.0 (apparently the 5.x.x work on 6.0 and vice versa) http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/themes/fonts-flashable-zips-t3219827

also didnt mean to overshadow op's contribution just thought it might help if you didnt want to install 30 megs worth of fonts

these are excellent for lollipop roms. those still using 4.4.x need to get themselves another compatible font pack.

sounds like a winner to me. lol its rather tedious editing the system font xml lol

Holy moley, that is an awesome link. The amount of font examples is amazing. That must have taken "Gianton" awhile to put that together.

thats exactly what i thought back when i found the 3.x - 4.x.x thread when i had my my s3. after i traded that in for my lg g stylo i had to go look and see if they were updated for 5,x and luckily they were

no problem its the least i can do since i dont know how to do stuff like that myself

so is the edit not one that is easily placed up on this forum ? or do u have to email it? i would love to change theses ridiculous ass fonts on stock. I read your other LG Volt contribs. - way to go, they're awesome. On the split screen though, one major question: i have a ZV99. How does that come into play lol.

ZV99 shouldn't cause any issues
