For all the people wondering what Tmobile phones we will get metro branded

the hulk

Android Enthusiast
Just look on Tmobiles website, a majority of there newer playtoys we will probably be getting.

For example, the alcatel flip

that samsung exhibit

the two LG's

the S4

The nokia low end windows phone probably

we got the GSM S3 already

it's just a matter of waiting now.

For the moment the only way you can buy a Galaxy S4 from T-Mobile to use it "outside" of T-Mobile carrier is by phone, not thru their website nor the stores but anyway Metro is selling and probably will sell almost all T-Mobile phones.

Nothing new here yet where I am in the suburbs of Detroit. No BYOD, no new phones, nothing. Visited the store where I got my last phone and asked them and they said they had no idea when things would be here in this area. Not that I'm in a hurry for anything but just saying this roll out of things will probably take some time and they seem to be more interested in getting the new markets going than they are in catching up the markets they've been in for a while.

I think you should check the website for other areas around you instead, byod should be in every city now.

Yes I know because I own one HSG-M919N rooted with some mods but for the moment there is no firmware release for it. Different kernel, different systemui apk. Some mods work but many do not.

I think what he is saying is you could run the full tmobile rom/kernel/recovery and the phone would basically just be a tmo phone:)

and precisely, I know of a gentleman accidentally putting a tmobile rom on his metro pcs branded device and not being able to revert back to metro pcs because he didn't do a backup, yet his functionality on his device is still full.
