For those that have used this phone...

It seems pretty obvious that the delays had very little (if any) to do with google wallet. This thing is/was not ready for prime time IMO.

For techies maybe but general public there are some pretty serious bugs it seems.

I'm not sure what these "serious" bugs are that you speak of, I have had zero issues with my precious. Sure there are some people complaining about battery issues but I think there is more to their stories than what they are letting on. I got over 14hrs yesterday and the battery still wasn't dead when I plugged it in.

I can't think of any phone that was perfect on launch. Every phone can, and usually does, have some issues to sort out when they go live on full scale. Most of the issues I've seen referenced so far, appear of a variety that may be able to be fixed with software updates, which we will probably see fairly soon, now that they're being documented by customers and reps.

I agree that it sure doesn't seem like Wallet would've been the thing to cause the delays, but there's not much to go on as to what it really was that took it so long.

I would also like to know what these "serious" bugs are. This honestly is the smoothest and bug free Android phone I've owned to date. Granted there have been many, but I still have a hard time believing this phone wasn't ready to be released.

I am referring to the signal issues. Right next to a thunderbolt I am seeing MUCH slower download speeds. In addition the quality of the calling signal pales in comparison to similar Verizon phones. The 1080 p video is unacceptable as well.

Call quality is excellent on my phone. My only complaint is my screen is a bit grainy but from what I have read it's something that is inherent with SAMOLED screens.

So it has a weaker signal than some other phones. I wouldn't consider that a serious bug...

You're nuts if you think there is a problem with the video.

I haven't had a problem with my signal.

I haven't dropped a single call, and my data speeds are great.

Yeah, the number isn't great (I usually get around -90dBm), but if I am pulling 26Mbps down, and 9Mbps up, I could care less what the number says.
