Help Force app to stay open in background?

I am running Android KitKat and I have 1GB and I use a specific music app to stream music (Pandora). The problem is if I try to use another app like (Facebook) the (Pandora) app will close. I understand this may be due to low RAM. When I had a phone that didn't have acceptable RAM, I never had an issue like this. I even use the native talk manager to clear all the open apps and that still doesn't help. I know of a way to freeze an app so that it wouldn't open, I'm wondering if there is a way to keep an app running in the back ground (by force)

You may have something else going on. I just verified I can stream Pandora, open Facebook, check email, play Solitaire, etc. without Pandora closing.

No, not everyone has this problem. KC literally just said he can do it. I don't have those problems either.

I'm not saying that you, or others don'tv have this issue. I'm just saying most people are not having this issue. A handful does not equate everyone.

That would be the question, now wouldn't it. Either there is something wrong with your phones, or there's a configuration issue. A factory reset might shed done light, if one of you is willing to do that.

my apps will force close. I have virgin mobile. is this happening on both virgin and boost? just curious
