Force close

My problem is that I pull up eclipse, start writing an application and deploy it to my galaxy s phone, and for the first few runs it behaves like it should, but in subsequent runs it will always force close while loading. I've tried stripping the app down to nothing except for the basic onCreate method and deploy it and it will still force close every time. How might I fix this?
