Help Ford Sync?

Does anyone with the s4 and a ford with sync? If so is it able to read your text messages to you?

My S4 is due to arrive on 5/1. I'll let you know because I've got Ford SYNC v3.5.1. I'm sure it can read text messages back to you because that feature worked great with the S3.

I have Ford Sync, and I have no issues whatsoever. Texts read fine and the S4 seems to connect a little faster than my S2 did.

It works for me as well on my non-MyTouch Sync system. It does not show the name of the sender, instead showing my name. Irrelevant to me though because Ive found the feature to be more of an annoyance.

I got a new Ford Fusion a couple weeks ago, and it reads text messages just fine from my S4. However, it won't play music through the USB. It will play a song I downloaded from Gmail that is stored on my phone (and a couple other Samsung audio files stored in that folder), but it will not play music stored on my SD card (where I obviously have the majority stored). Anyone have any work arounds for that? I'd like to be able to play songs from my phone.

The phone won't mount like a USB thumbdrive. You have to use the bluetooth connection and play your music from there.

Alternately, just go buy a thumbdrive for $20 and your music will always be in your car - ready to play.

My Ford Sync says that my phone is not compatible with text messages. Do I have a setting wrong? Should I pair it again?
