Foreign language spammers

Can't stand the daily spam in Chinese!!
Not sure what they're trying to do but, almost daily or even a few times a day there are spammers who posts 15-20 new threads in a foreign language here on Android forums.

My suggestion? Block full posts in foreign language with an error saying that this forum is in English only.

Or block new members from posting more than 2 new thread in an hour and if they try going over that limit, the post should be checked by a moderator first.

Anyone with me?

It's a pain, that's for sure. I would support any measures to filter out this stuff.

I'm almost certain we used to have a similar system like this in place, I'd definitely be all for implementing it again.

Agree, filter with a message that the forum is in English only. And limit new members to (say) 5 posts in any 60 minute period until they've made (say) 25 Useful posts.

Totally agree. You can multiply that by at least four, I regularly count 4 or 5 pages of this rubbish in 'Most Recent'.

New members should have a set post limit to stop this crap.

I wonder why a filter or a post limit per hour isn't implemented yet when this thing is going on for a very very very very very long time now. Its the reason I don't frequent to this site or just close it when the first thing I see is a whole page of spam threads.

My default first page when I log in is 'Most recent' so usually see them as soon as they are posted whichever Forum they're in. I always now use report .
