Okay so a few weeks ago i broke my phone (it feel on the road, the screen was completly ruined all over. it still worked though, but i couldnt really see anything because of how much the phone was ruined) so i took it to get fixed and got it back today. Everything is perfectly in order, until i realize i forgot my lock screen password. It has been quite long since i last used my phone and i just cant remember my password. So i decided to reboot it, holding the volume up, home and power button. Nothing happens, my phone simply turns on and continues as usual. I was very confused because i did reboot my phone before and i could reboot it just fine. So i pressed volume down, home and power button and my phone went to ODIN mode, but again no reboot mode, no factory dana reset option. So im definitly going to call someone to get that checked, but im wondering has anyone ever came across something like this, and importantly did you manage to solve it, and how?
Also, i apologize for any errors and i hope you will understand everything, but English is not my first language :)

Well, I think this problem can be solved without touching the factory reset or any if you have access to the gmail account which is linked with your device, do one thing first of all make sure that data or wifi connection is enabled over your device? If its not enabled then still you can enable the data connection by pressing and holding the power button a pop up will appear and ask you to power the device off, restart the device, enable or disable the data connection, if the data connection is disable press the enable/disable data connection, once the data connection enables open your desktop log yourself over the same gmail ID associated with the device and head over the the Google Android Device manager (Try searching Android device Manager over the Google), wait a while until it shows the device status online, press the unlock button over there, all done your device will get unlock. Try doing it I hope this will fix your issue ! Let me know if you encounter any problems.

Okay, so my data connection was disabled and i pressed the power button, and it said all of the things above. I clicked on the data connection and it once again asked me do i want to turn it on, and i clicked yes. After that nothing at all happend, everything stayed completly the same, even my evil lock screen password haha :(:mad:

Well @Petraell, once the data connection is active you need to log yourself in to your gmail account over the Laptop which is associated with your device. Once you logged yourself in to the gmail account on the google try searching for Android device manager click on the very first results wait for sometime to detect your device it will show Device status "online" over the Android device manager once its online you can click the unlock button over the browser it will unlock your device. ;) Did I forget to mention this thing over my above post or you forget to read the whole post ???

I went to android device manager but it didnt work cause my phone didnt have wi fi or data connection!! You understand? It couldnt be located because it didnt have any internet!!!! I already wrote thaat i dont have any data connection on phone and even though i tried to turn it on nothing happens. So please stop going with that android device manager thing CAUSE IT DOESNT WORK WITHOUT DATA CONNECTION WHICH I DONT HAVE! And yes i tried turning it on with the power button didnt you read? ._.
