Help forgotten Gmail password

HI there,
My wife forgot her gmail account password and can't have access to her email from any PC/Laptop, etc. She doesn't remember the alternate email address so she can not reset or recover this password thru that route. However, She's able to see her emails on her android phone, that's because there is no password required. Where can you find this password on her phone? or how can this password be changed or recovered?
She already filled out information that Google asks but it'll take a few days to decide if this is authentic.
Any help would be appreciated.

You android phone does require the PW, but it's already programmed into the phone.

When you go to perform a password reset, it give you a hint to which account is the recovery account. if you no longer have access to the account, there is a link for that to help proceed with a password recovery in another manner.
