Modern batteries don't typically need much "conditioning" like the older types did. The usage you describe should be fine for the battery's life and any needed "conditioning" for peace of mind. As far as benchmarking/comparing the battery-life, you'd need to use a factory-fresh battery and drain it fully with a standardized test, then do the same with your "conditioned" one to tell the difference. There's no real reason you'd want or need to.
