Help Formatting help please

Just got finished with yet another disappointing interaction with cricket customer service......

Could some1 please help me format my memory card? I really do not feel like driving 1.5 hrs to a "corporate store" .

Also...

I tried to download an app and I didnt know I needed to sign into my mail every time I want an app. It looked, and seemed funny to me (being new). The fact my phone kind of freaked out on me and was acting funny a few hours earlier was concerning as well.

I went to gmail at my home pc and tried to sign in with the account info I created on my cell.
They ended up sending an activation code to my cell gmail.
I entered the activation code and there was an error message....now I cant get to my email on phone at all.

The 2.2 update is avalible in the @metro app store you can go to your home screen hit menu go to SD and storage hit unmount then format (will show under unmount sd) just keep in mind everything on your SD card will be deleted hope that helps you out

they on cricket, the update will not work for them...

You don't need to sign into email everytime you want an app. Did you set up your phone right? Is your gmail account in your "Accounts & Sync Settings?" Make sure the gmail account name and password is right. (BTW, you can keep multiple accounts synced in there.) It can be a little bit of a pain to get everything set up right and syncing, but once it is, it should all work fine.

As far as your card goes, I think mine just did it automatically. Try power off, take out card, restart, turn off, replace card, restart. If I'm way off, someone will say so shortly.

1 I'm finding this little stuff out slowly but surely..I haven't been getting good direction from cricket staff.
2 Changed email when I got 8g card
3 Got an 8g card

** Called cricket again to set up phone w/ new card.... went very well to my surprise
