Help formatting the memory card?

when my replacement phone comes in id like to format this card just to take away any chance that it may be causing me some issues. do i just wipe it completely through my pc or do i have to leave certain files on it for things on the phone to work properly still?

you could do it through the PC

be easier to just UNMOUNT and then FORMAT through the X10 menu

MENU > SETTINGS > SD CARD & PHONE STORAGE > UNMOUNT > FORMAT
