I've been coming to this site for months now - and I keep getting the invitation to introduce myself - so I'm doing it.
I have the Samsung Epic 4G phone (actually we have 3 of them, mine, wife's and 16 year old son - it's great to be able to share batteries, cords, and learn together). We got our phones back in June 2011.
I do miss how well the PIM's work with Palm - I'm getting by with what I'm finding in Android. The screen and resolution is fantastic with this phone. My wife likes the keyboard - my son and I could have done without it.
I do like Gingerbread better - especially when it comes to copying text. I have not rooted my phone or installed any rom's. I did manually updated to GB but my son got his a couple days later this week OTA. My wife is still running Froyo....
Anyway, thanks to everyone on this forum and the time and effort you offer to help us out.
