Former Note users feedback requested...

I am currently on a Note 2. I have tried the Note 3 and the Note 4 as well recently. The Note 3 has horrible reception and both the Note 3 and the 4 have a bluetooth phone call audio problem where it distorts in my car which I just couldn't deal with.

So I went back to my Note 2. I love this phone but it is getting kind of slow, etc.

Just wondering if any former Note 3 or 4 users could share there feedback. I never use the S Pen so I won't miss that...

Thanks!!

I came from the note 3 to the g3 and I've been pretty happy with it. I also had the note 2 and I agree I loved that phone. Reception on the note 2 was excellent and in this department the g3 is awesome as well. On a side note, the note 3 my wife is still using received an update today that is supposed to fix the connectivity problems that kitkat introduced.

I do miss the screen size of the n3, but I've gotten used to the g3. I also greatly prefer the screen on the note 3 (the viewing angles on the g3 suck.) Performance is pretty similar to the note 3, but will be a nice upgrade from the n2.

Overall, the g3 is a really solid phone with expandable memory, replaceable battery and a great camera, and it's also a freaking steal right now.

I have a Note 4 and have no issues with Bluetooth calls in my car, so that's odd. That said (and the reason I am posting) is I bought my dad a G3 for his birthday. When you talk about audio problems with the Note 4 in a car (via the radio) or a headset? I don't use a Bluetooth headset, but this weekend I will see if I can pair my dads phone with my car and test the audio for you.

Only on phone calls. I have a 2007 car, so it only does phone calls. The audio is clipped and is distorted. It sounds like it is too loud and the speaker is distorting. Hard to describe, but the 3 and the 4 are sending too hot a bluetooth signal. It's painful to talk on the phone. Only happens in my car, not my gfs Prius. My 2 sounds great.
