There is this popular model of Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100T which is nearly same as the international model of i9100 with only the modem different which confuses all. (vodaphone and telstra of australia use the T modem)
I think you should start a separate Samsung S2 Galaxy i9100T sub-forum. Whenever a question is asked on this particular madel we always get an answer pertaining to the international model but not relevent to this model. Please consider this request .

As you say, the only difference is in the baseband installed - everything else about the i9100 and the i9100T is identical. As explained here, the criteria for a separate forum is based primarily on the device hardware.
