I am ovo/lacto vegetarian. Eggs aren't meat in my book...I know what scrapple is...in my neck of the woods liver mush or liver pudding are more popular...scrapple is more of a northern thing

whatever that means! i've heard of the liver stuff but never had it. most people cringe at the thought of scrapple, but i grew up on it and love it.

Ovo/lacto means I eat eggs and milk products.

Scrapple is basically the same thing as livermush...texture is a little different but same ingredients. I ate it for 9 years and had both.

Well milk is dairy so why wouldn't a vegetarian have it? Because it comes from animals?
 
A true vegan won't eat anything that comes from or contains products from anything with a mouth and eyes.
I've had a few conversations about this and just can't wrap my head around it. And then my mind goes towards the gutter and its downhill from there. :p:D

I'm not a vegan...too restrictive many of them also won't wear leather products

Doesn't bother me any...I am only vegetarian because I chose to be when I was 9 and don't feel like readjusting now...I don't like the pushy PETA vegetarians that want to show you eating meat is wrong just as I don't like pushy religious people who want to convert you...
 
I am not that nice to them...would likely piss some people off if I told what I did the last times some people came to my door selling religion...;)
 
I actually got in a debate once because i was tired of packing stuff up for moving and was irritable...i dont think he was too happy with me
 
I try to avoid debates with them...have asked if they were virgins...since those make the best tributes...I also used to have some alternative holy books I kept near the door to return the favor...asked if they knew how to get blood out of carpet and if they would help me hide a trash bag...that last one wasn't a wise idea because I got to talk to an officer of the law later that day...:o
 
I have answered the door wearing my devil horns from Halloween. They don't usually say anything after seeing that. Once I did it with the horns and holding a bottle of vodka. I could hear the guy praying for me as he walked away.
