I never use my Kindle anymore. I use my phone or the apparently much hated iPad for reading. My Kindle is one of the older ones. I should wipe it clean and sell it.

i really never saw the point of kindles til i got one. i still like the feeling of actually turning the page though
 
I missed the actual pages briefly. But it's so much easier to read at work with the apps. :D

And some books are either not available or I refuse to spend the money on them so I'll get them from the library.
 
I have a huge wall in my living room that is all bookshelves and is pretty much full (seriously it's huge, I don't feel like really measuring it though!). It would suck to buy many of those books for a Kindle though. I wish that if you owned a hard copy already you could download the e version for free!
 
that would be awesome! then i could have all my John Grisham novels on it! along with my twilight saga and other random books
 
Ugh, I refuse to read Twilight. Vampires are not supposed to sparkle in the sunlight, they are supposed to burn (Just ask OTD!). That right there makes me refuse to read it.

My wife enjoyed reading them though.
 
I don't discriminate based on sparkle vs burn. I like reading the different ideas these authors come up with. One of my favorite is the Carpathian Series by Christine Feehan.
 
Yeah, it's just one of those things that annoys me, and then makes me decide it isn't worth my time. I have been wrong about that stuff before. And I know plenty of people like them.

My favorite book is "Ender's Game" By Orson Scott Card. Excellent read.

I can see where you are coming from AC13 that is really off putting to me as well. I know what vampires are supposed to be like and sparkly isn't part of that.
 
OK... Ebooks suck sometimes! Was reading, swipe to the next Page.... Nothing. Next Page is there but not what it should be! It's missing a page!! 2nd time this has happened
