Pressed the report button and phases took care of the issue...I've never been moderated by phases I'm not that special;)

I think we are all special, in some way. Like karan he is only 9 and is a rom dev...and AC13 who spams hide tags...and marc is...um...well...special...maybe my initial thought of everyone beings special was wrong...

You don't have to have anything you are a savant at to do well on AF ;) basically just helping where you can is all most of us do. I've pretty much learned everything I know about android on my own via trial and error for the most part. Back when I had the OG Droid I would see what I can change in the system apks before the phone stopped working then restore a backup and try again.

I learned all I know about fixing electronics and soldering all that jazz on my own. through trial and error, google, and youtube. :D. I try and help here, although I know more about hardware stuff than software stuff although I'm no noob about android and ADB.

Well, hacking like that didn't start on my android, it was way back when I had my laptop, I was with a PC modding group and I didn't have hacks, however I speedup the game and making the game run fast in real time, meaning I could go fast online without touching the game files, I have lead my group called GUnit (yeah it was lame) and we were the type of gamers where we pass the time, chat and play.

It was going good, I decided to create another group as I was dominating a mod group called MODern (silly name too). I called it MRC or Midnight Rider's Club and I began to create a scripted kiddie website for a few months, then when I got better I began from scratch and made MRC version 2.0. I was really into website design at the time so I kept making more sites but I was failing school so I stopped for a long while.

Anyways, when I got my hands on the PSP I was soo happy to have a handheld I can play for hours, then in about 3 months in I was bored because the screen looks all to familiar and I wish I had a cool PSP, so I looked into MOD forums and found some cool Custom Firmwares to go beyond what you aint capable of using with your old Firmware (Firmware is ROM in a way). So I got it hacked and I was able to play emulators and apps. I love my PSP soo much that I got a slim PSP and hacked that one. This was my device before Android.

Then around May of last year, my borther told me that Virgin Mobile had this plan for me that was perfect, 25 bucks for 300 minutes, unlimited data, and texting. This was the perfect plan for me so I did it and got me my first Android phone, LG Optimus V, this phone was great and I thought the screen was big, I love the phone soo much I had to hack it too, lol.

After a few months in, my eyes set something better for my N64 needs, It was the Motorola Triumph, the power on that phone sold me, the screen is better than my Optimus and of course I hacked it. In the whole time I have been using Android, I have learned how to use the phone at its peak, its like learning a new PC all over again to be honest. Sorry I rambled too much, I am willing to share my background as brief as possible :)

My first hacking around with firmware was also on a PSP until I found out that laptops from goodwill may have screwed up USB ports prone to burning out the receiving USB port on whatever you have hooked to it. Then I had a PSP that wouldn't power on :p

Easy fix. Solder a new port on. :D

I never hacked as such . I used to create custom bios for my old graphics card until I bricked the card . I did create an FM transmitter once and also an 3km antenna from a Pringles can .I have no idea what to do with it though lol .

use it for an antenna for your phone! :D

And I thought of something if the PSP wouldn't power on because too much amperage or voltage went through the USB port then it probably blew a fuse. Easy fix solder a new fuse on! (or jump it... I did that on a ds and it worked fine just if something were to go wrong it would fry the MOBO) :D

All the things you guys listed cannot compare to my skills which are too numerous to list here... ;)

Actually I know a decent amount of electrical work (more in homes etc than devices, but some of both). I know a decent amount of woodworking stuff. I know computer hardware and some website/database coding (but not a ton, and the db stuff is quite basic). I have skills in landscaping, welding & fabrication, painting (not artist type stuff) and I know a lot about history, psychology, and a lot of other stuff that I cram in my brain.

Not a easy fix anymore since the PSP got left with most my
other stuff when I moved out last June
