Forum structure

[pdonahue]

Only recently started using Android Forums but am finding the structure rather cumbersome and unhelpful, maybe I am not using it properly. I have some general phone related questions but I only seem to be able to post a thread under a specific phone model which excludes many useful answers from other areas. I find it very useful and user-friendly in other forums to have a "post new thread" button on the forum home page and then have the option of where to post the thread. Just a suggestion, sometimes someone coming in with fresh eyes sees a problem others don't, however I am always happy to learn.

Welcome to the forum!

We have sections for non-device-specific questions in the Android Discussion part of the forum.

You can also post your question here and I can move it for you, if you're still unsure.
