Forwarding an sms/deleting draft sms

Hi
How do I forward an sms and how do I delete a message that I started and has now ended up as a draft. I can't find an out box or a draft box - I have an Experia X10 and would appreciate any help. In simple language please!

Those functions are in the menu which comes up when you long press the message.
 
Hello there and welcome to the X10 forum!

To get rid of a draft, open it up and use your back space key to delete all the text in the input box and then press the back arrow to take you back to the main page of the messaging application.
 
Haven't been able to delete draft, but I have been able to forward a message by long pressing it. There's nothing about how to do these things in the phone instructions - thanks again!
 
Just thinking about what I actually do, open the conversation that has draft next to it and then do the back space key on your keyboard to delete the text then press back up. Does it for me in the stock Messaging app and also in Handcent SMS app which I prefer to use (free from the Android Market and very good!).
