Forwarding SMS conversations

How do I forward entire text conversations on the new S3. I do not want to copy and paste, copy and paste! Cannot I select the messages to forward and do so?

Entire conversations? Or just one message at a time? I'm not sure how to forward an entire thread or how that would look since the receiving end would just see everything coming from you.

Long press on a message bubble, then select "forward" to forward a message.

I said up above......How do I forward entire text conversations on the new S3. I do not want to copy and paste, copy and paste! Cannot I select the messages to forward and do so?

Yes, the entire convo. I understand forwarding, but that is just like copying and pasting. Can you not select the texts you want to forward wit a CHECK or just forward the whole thread. This is one advantage the iPhone had over the S3

The iPhone service you are asking for goes through iMessage right? That means that feature goes through data, not your text credits. If you try to do that on an Android don't be surprised if you get a bill for a few hundred SMS sent. What you do on Android is you can email the entire conversation to someone else. You can use this app:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zeesoftware.emailnytexts&feature=search_result

Another option is to have a backup of all your SMS on your GMail account using SMS Backup+ https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zegoggles.smssync&feature=search_result

Then emailing that conversation to someone. This also lets you select which messages to forward or not via Gmail.

So, you are saying I have to copy each message or forward each message indiviually or buy this APP and email the conversation? Dang, I thought there would be a much easier way or am missing somethig? THanks for the help.

Off topic, but this is a prime example of why google talk is a better messaging service then your messaging app.

Ive gotten most my friends, with gmail accounts, to switch to gtalk, just so we have convos recorded.
