Found "hidden" Dxtop App Dock

Sorry if this is already well know.

If you hold down the app drawer icon on the home page for a second until it turns color and swipe from left to right, a small app dock appears on the bottom of the screen. You can drag and drop 5 shortcuts and it will show up on every home screen. To get back to the app drawer just swipe again. Cleared up a decent amount of space for me.

And the title says:

Found "hidden" Dxtop App Dock

Yes, which is why I followed the directions he gave in his post to try to "find" it. On my Magic when I hold down the tray button, it changes colour. If I swipe left/right, or right/left, or even just left, or right... nothing.

Sorry it is not working for you. Maybe email the developer. Another trick is that if you hold down the back key it opens the recently usedapp drawer and if you hold down the menu key it opens the regular app drawer.

Here is a pic of the app bar

Here is one with the ap bar and app drawer half slid over

I think it's a new feature isnt it? You shouldn't have to long press the current dock, just swipe it and it should switch over. Works fine on the Droid.
