Help FoxFi is asking for a PIN on Razr M

I have the original Droid Razr, and FoxFi works fine. We can connect the laptop via WiFi, no problem.

We just bought my fiancee the new Razr M, and the laptop is asking for a PIN for some reason. Any ideas what the PIN is, or how to get around the requirement for a PIN?

Thanks

This has become a moot point for me now, I suppose, as we've switched to a share-everything plan that includes mobile hot-spot. Still, it is a mystery to me why the FoxFi app wouldn't work just as well on the M as on the original Razr.

Does anyone have FoxFi working on their RAZR M?

The plot thickens...

We combined accounts and now have included tethering. So, no need to use FoxFi, right? Well, for some reason her laptop still asks for a PIN even when trying to connect to the Razr M using Verizon's own mobile hotspot! I somehow got around it, but it's so strange.

And another thing, the Verizon mobile hotspot has proven to be very crappy, indeed. It keeps dropping the connection. So I still have to use FoxFi on my phone.
