Frameworks are the common files that android and apps reference for images. You can go in there and edit the .pngs for customized notification icons, etc. I haven't gone digging around in there yet for the El TEvo, so I'm not exactly sure which file folder the .pngs are referenced. I think there is a tutorial over at the mikmik, let me go look around and see of I can dig up the right file.

On the OG, they were in system / framework / frameworkres.apk / res / drawable-hdpi folder. I'm sure they are somewhere else on this phone because the screen is different.

This phone references res / drawable-xhdpi

Once I get on my pc I'll try and remember to link the tutorials over at themikmik. They've got some really talented themers over there, and the tutorials should help get you started.

I also need to check out the UOT Kitchen and see if that will work for this phone.

I've tried UOT a couple of times with a few different ROMS. Initially, I couldn't even upload the Framework file, as the quota was set too low. Once I contacted the site admin and it was adjusted, I kept getting SHTF errors. I've tried multiple different things and even simplified it down only to a battery mod (which UOT says it supports for ICS), but no luck.

I'll keep going back once in a while to try it out, but unfortunately it's not working for the latest Sense based ROMS yet.
