Root Franco Kernel r79 charging issues

Anyone running r79 on a 4.4.4 rom?
I couldn't use my tab while charging or the battery would drop.
Tried all sorts of charger cable combos with no joy.
Reflashed my rom to get rid of Franco and now it's charging fine.
Tried flashing an older Franco r77 but it won't flash, guessing it's because I'm on 4.4.4?
Any ideas peeps.
Or suggestions for a kernel as fast as Franco for 4.4.4?

I just made a test and I don't get that. I don't often use my tab while charging as I use the ASUS dock and not the USB port. But when I tested just now with a USB AC charger, everything seemed fine with r79.

Thanks mate. Hmm I've just updated my rom and not flashed a kernel so I'll try Franco again on this.... :thumbup:
