Root Franco Kernel Tips

Hook

Ever since DU... ;-)
I have Franco Kernel and FKU, but I confess the only thing I have done with it is to undervolt the CPU -50MV. I have no idea what any of the other stuff does. I'd be interested in any tips and suggested settings from more experienced FK users.

Also, is there anywhere to go to read up on these kernel settings in a way that is a little easier to ingest than the XDA thread?

TIA

It's all personal preference (as long as you know what each category does). Personally, I'm running 300/1728 -75mV on Interactive gov. My input boost is set to 1190MHz and sync freq is at 960MHz. I'm in the process of testing out some other settings to see if I can squeeze some more batt life out of the kernel. If I deem this as stable, I'll share it with you all.

I'm guessing here. You say 960 MHz for sync freq. Right now it shows 960000 on mine and I'm guessing that number *is* 960 MHz so I leave it.

My number for input boost freq is 1574400 ahich I am guessing is 1574 MHz and I would change this number to 1190000 to match yours.

Is that correct?

Tolja. Noob. :o

Yep, that's it.

Hey guys. Thanks for posting these settings.

Any update to these settings, months later? Have you changed anything with r60?
