Free Android Tablet - Received a letter signed by Steve Winsly

Lurker
I received a Letter from ELLINGTON CENTRE (In a sealed envelope - my address seem to be hand written!), PO Box 830 Daytona Beach FL 32118, signed by, Steve Winsley Vice President, South East Division.

Letter asks to Call # 800-732-3449. and claim a FREE Android Tablet!

What's the catch?!!
:D

It's a scam. Basically when receiving mail like this, just ask yourself: did i join any raffle where I could win this? What raffle was that? If the answer to the first is no, or if the answer to the second is not related to the sender, it's a scam.

I did call them to find out how it goes!

You have to attend a travel club presentation with your partner (Where obviously they would suffocate you to sign up for a 10K membership!!)

You have to have a "major" credit card

Well.. its a bait to get a bunch of people together and get at least a few to sign up for the travel club which itself could be a scam?

Not worth spending a day of 2 adults for a $50 Tablet! (& need to burn gas for 2 hours to reach the place!)
