[Gerbyte] New game - Colours : Story of Red

Hi guys.

I have developed a new game for Android.
What I want is somebody to please review it! I've asked all sorts of places but got nowhere; I've asked friends and family - they all say "That's really good that is" but I feel it is biased!

It is a very basic game, quite addictive (apparently) and good competition as there is a public leaderboard for the scores.

Please please PLEASE will somebody review it for me?!?

Many thanks.

The game can be found here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gerbyte.shootingwatch

Many thanks and all the best.

Gerb.

Hi gerbyte, and welcome to Android Forums :D

I've moved your thread into our App & Game Announcements subforum where developers are encouraged to post a thread about their app and game releases. I also went ahead and added the Play Store link to your game into your post to help people find it :)

Please let me know if you have any questions

Hi guys! It's not really expensive, it's free.
Story of Red is a free, fun, fiendish puzzle platform adventure that is set over a few worlds and (currently) thirty levels (more to come soon).

Escaping the clutches of the evil Black and his cronies, Red managed to steer his spacecraft into the pull of the Earth's gravity. Losing control, the Red in his spacecraft plummeted towards the ground where he crashed into a lonely forest, throwing Red and pieces of his spacecraft everywhere.

Red must travel the land and collect as many cogs as he can to fix his spacecraft so that he can return to the Colours' mother ship, reunite with the other Colours and and return home. Not having a care in this strange new world, or knowing danger from harmless, Red will wonder anywhere.
You must guide Red's path so that he can reach the exit on each level safely using only the elements of air, earth, fire and water, and pick up cogs on the way so that Red can repair his spacecraft.

Sometimes you may create traps, sometimes you may block exits. Either way, all levels can be reset on the menu screen. Also, by using the "mover" button, you can look around the level to get an idea or maybe plan a safe route to the exit.

Do you have what it takes to help Red home?

Download it now and give it a go. If you can get past level 23 then I will personally invite you over for a cup of tea*! :)

Thanks people.

All the best,

Gerbil :)

*to qualify for the free cup of tea, you must be aged 18 or over unless accompanied by an adult and allowed to drink tea. You must also live close to me (unless you are willing to travel).
If I have no teabags in at time of visit then I cannot provide cup of tea, so might be best you bring your own teabag just in case.

Thanks, good game..
I've played it until level 5, but it forced me to quit the app (error) when push the box into the exit area.

Thanks for the reply bud. Can you end me an error report please if it happens again so I can work on it? This is my first app so I'm kind of expecting more crashes along the way.
Thank you.

Most of the displays are only display on half of my screen, except the play game screen. May be you can check the compatibility of your app with different screen size.
I use Samsung Tab 2 with 7" screen.
The buttons are also become smaller in my screen.

Hi guys.

Just a quick post to announce the release of my FREE brand new app, "Where Is My...???"
It is run off the device's GPS system and the idea is to record where you have pitched your tent (or parked your car). When you have gone for a wonder and you return back to your camping field (or packed carpark), the app will point in the direction of where you recorded your position. AND, to make your tent (or car) easier to find, the app gives a reading in meters of how far you are from it.

For more info visit my sub forum where you will find the Google Play link to download it:

All comments welcome.

Thanks guys. :)

Hi guys.
Just a quick one as I went to help answer a few unanswered threads on here before starting work (I've been mega busy with my latest app).

I'd like to introduce Buddy Locator which allows you to find your buddies when you get lost in a crowd. The above link is a link to a post in my developers area.

Cheers for stopping by! :)
