I developed this app that uses the SMS protocol in the absence of Internet coverage for:
Send and receive vCard
sending and receiving of vCalendar
sending and receiving geographic coordinates

I tried it out. Better than nothing but not quite what I hoped. Can it be made to send an actual card that someone can click and add to their calendar and what about receiving vocals?
