Free App to open WPS file with Droid X

Hi: I have not tried this yet but It was mentioned on the DroidX forums that this does not work. Have you used this successfully with an Android phone in converting WPS attachments in e-mail so you can view the file? Thanks for your previous response.

Well it opens Word documents. I have never tried a wps file, but you could always just convert the wps file to a txt or doc file.

Thanks. Can you convert a file to a doc file from the phone or do you have to convert it on the computer and resend it? If you can on the phone please explain how to do it. I am certainly willing to covert to doc in order to see the file. Thanks again for all your replies.

There are websites that can do it. Google "wps to doc". You upload the file, it converts it, then you download the new doc file. Thats the only way I can think of, as I haven't seen an app to convert text formats.
