free app transfer?

I have a droid x as well as my girlfriend. She has an app called sudoku 10000 made by gravity1. Its a free app but its been taken off the market. Is there any way for me to transfer it onto my phone. Its the best sudoku app I've seen and I'm desperate to get it

If there's no way to do this i'd appreciate just knowing. I'll just have to wait until gravity1 figures out a way to re-release it

Install Astro file manager on her phone. Back up the app to her SD card. It will create a apk file in the /backups/apps directory. Then you can email the file to your phone and install it.

Apps can be "locked" by the developer. If the developer has done that for the app in question, then the above process won't work. I don't know of a way to transfer the app if it is locked.
