Free EBook App..pls.Help

Pls. Help. I used to have Moon reader epub reader in my samsung.. this is a great app ebook for me since I was able to download FREE books which is just newly published and with Known Author. I used to check author at national bookstore and when I will find them in epub..its all there.. their books are free to download. latest version, sequel and all :(.. but When i have my samsung reformatted. I cant find it. The new moonreader that I have download I cannot figure how to use and books are so old and not FREE
:(. I dont like Wattpadd. I dont know mostly of the books there. i've tried to download many other ebook apps but cant find any free good books.
Please help me find an ebook reader that is offering really free and latest books :confused
 
I don't know if you're into Science Fiction but the Baen Free Library has a pretty good selection of titles in that genre which are available in most ebook reader formats including .epub. Here's a link for you and welcome to the forums aimes0482. I'm sorry but I don't know of any apps that let you download free books.
 
aimes0428 replying to your thread made me take a good look at my eBook reader of choice FB Reader and lo and behold what did I discover? A page which includes free eBook sources within the app. I use an HTC One (M8) so I got to it by tapping on the screen while within a book and then tapping on the icon in the upper left corner that looks like a row of books with a globe behind it. On my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 all I had to do was tap on the menu button while reading a book to get similar results. I"m not sure how old or recent the available books are but it's something you could look into.

This was something that allowed you to download the latest books from known authors, that you would normally pay for on say Amazon Kindle or at national bookstores? If so, we can really help you with that as it's illegal, i.e. copyright infringement. And presumably the new version of Moon Reader doesn't have this feature, very likely for legal reasons, e.g. cease and desist, and now it's old public domain books or books that they have the rights to distribute.
