[Free][Game] Smash 'n' Break - arkanoid with level editor!

Rudi,
thanks for a great app - I've been using it, the free version, for a while when running my fitness classes, down at the boxing club.
I have just bought the full version (unheard of! (for those that know me)) - I did think that the 'landscape' setting would alter itself to suit the orientation of the 'phone (may be this could be a further option) like most other apps e.g. photo albums &c.
I've a couple more suggestions...
  • Could the Edd Shepherd designs be modded to have a bigger 'Go!' button? [I've an X10mini & fat fingers!]
  • howabout an additional timer type ""stored presets" where the user is presented with their custom timers as 'buttons'? (I guess most users setup one or two timers and use them - I have 5 I use all the time)
  • more supplied sounds/bleeps - not eveyone knows about or could use Audacity &c. and as such the relatively weak supplied sounds may deter users who can't hear them above the din of a commercial setting
  • we've got settings for sounds/vibrations for all events; could there also be an option to remove, say, the sometimes redundant Ready or Relax from the setup screen?
I 'could' live without the above mods - the timer is brilliant; but it might just be a bit better with them...

Thanks

Pat.

I've moved this to the Application Announcements forum so folks looking for new apps can find it.:)

Rudi,
thanks for a great app - I've been using it, the free version, for a while when running my fitness classes, down at the boxing club...

Hey Pat,
I'm glad you like the Interval Timer. The reason why it doesn't switch to landscape and portrait automatically is because how android works. In short it would always reset whole timer every time you'd rotate your device. That's why I decided to make it available as a switch in options.
Thank you for the suggestions, I will definitely think about them and they may appear in future releases.

Hello,

I am running a fitness class in which I play music from my phone. I would like to use your app to keep time during my class but the beeping is not loud enough to overcome the sound of the music. Could you add a feature to mute the music playing while it is beeping to indicate the end of a time?

An example of this is I use Navigator and Pandora apps on my phone at the same time and the Navigator will pause Pandora whenever it needs to give you a direction.

Love your app!
Thanks!

Hey there!
I have a (hopefully) simple question: I bought the paid version a little time ago after using the free version for some time (btw: awesome Job! This is a really nice and handy tool for any kind of training, I love it!!)
But... there is a little button in simple training load stored preset saying "import", and when I am clicking it a message appears telling me where the presets are usually stored. "sdcard/itimer/" is the normal location and "*.iti" is the announced file-ending. Now here comes the problem: On my Galaxy Note 2 there is definetely no such file location nor such a file-type! Neither on the internal nor on the external storage. But, within the free version, the presets I programmed are all available. Only I can't import them to the paid version because I render myself completely unable to find the proper files. I searched every location on my phone whatsoever! Does anybody here have ANY idea where else those files might be stored and what the real file-ending is? Truth is, I have programmed a lot of presets, for simple AND extended training over the last few weeks and I really do not want to repeat that procedure 'cause it took me ages to accomplish that! So if anybody here knows anything about that issue and can provide help, I'd really, really appreciate that!
Thx in advance!

Edit: I found the solution on my own. You need to export your presets first (go to save presets, then export and do as asked), then the folder /sdcard/itimer will be set up and in there is the *.iti-file, named by yourself. Little critique: this should be explained somewhere inside the app...
But, I have all my presets now within the paid version and it works fine! I'm eager to wait and see what else you can build into that fine piece of software engineering in future versions!

You may have noticed that new version (2.0) is out. We partnered up with the Skillz.com and together - we bring you - TOURNAMENTS!!! Now you can play against another player and even win some prizes. Minor downside is that plumber asks for more permissions now, but don't worry, it's all just for the sake of easier login to tournaments. Check the permissions list with explanation in Google Play - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=sk.halmi.plumber
