Free gameloft hd golf game...limited time only

OMG... Note to future developers... if you're going to require someone to download your app's HUGE amount of data.. please place a MUTE button so we don't have to listen to the song play over and over and over and over.. ARG

There's this button on the phone that turns the volume up and down. If you hit it multiple times in the right direction it will actually mute the song completely. :eek:

Awesome! Games like this, I will buy. Great quality and fun game play and I don't even like golf.

Edit: Ok, partially awesome, game crashes every other time I use it. Will buy games from this company once the bugs are worked out.

Same here. A little buggy upon start up, but then seems to be fine from an operational standpoint. Little hard to aim, and swap clubs at times.

1. do I have to register to get the free game?

2. can it run on a Sprint Hero?

I downloaded the link/file provided...it loaded and started on my Hero, but it says.."this is not the original copy of lets golf". and just plays music on that page.

Going to the Mobile Games - iPhone Games, Android Games Downloads - Top Games for Mobile | Gameloft page on my hero.. it says no games available for your device. I am hoping there is someone here that was able to get it to work.

Pretty sure this was an Evo only deal. That's why we all had to use our stock browser as it must be transmitting some data telling the gameloft servers we are accessing through an evo.

Maybe you should try asking around on the hero forum as most...
 
I started the DL of the datapack about an hour ago via Wi-Fi. However, it says "You Are Downloading 631 MB Using Wi-Fi." Anyone else get this?

Thats what I thought. I just went ahead and reinstalled it via the apk. It went through the install process, download the remaining 24mb, and then launched. Thanks for the response.
 
promo didnt end... worked for me just now.

this is evo only special, are ppl having problems not evo users?
