If you got your Nexus 7 from gamestop i was told that it came with 5 games preinstalled in it is that true?

I didn't get any games, i would assume that was with some of the other tablets they currently sell.

The $25 Google Play credit more than makes up for the lack of games.

There weren't any games on mine but I did get the $25 credit.

They came straight from Google to GameStop. They didn't go to GS's warehouse to have the free games added.

Yes mine did. You have to download to the device or stream it.
