Free Mobile HotSpot?

On the Droid Incredible (first one) there was a code that one could enter (something like XXX) to get into settings and turn WiFi hotspot to be free of charge. I was wondering if anyone found some kind of break through to free WiFi hot spot?

If you choose to go the legitimate route and already have unlimited data, what hotspot options do you have? I only see combined hotspot and data plans advertised now.

So, here's the thing - discussion of backdoor means has come to end for forums where carriers have clearly show that this violates your contract and terms of service - like Verizon.

Despite the popularity of this sort of thing - AndroidForums.com has determined that this amounts to fraud, so we can't be discussing that here.
