Free pedometer app????

Hi

I am looking for a free pedometer app that i can use on my phone for the whole day i have tried a load from the play store but all of them either kill my battery or just don't count my steps when i lock my phone and put it in my pocket.

Anybody got any suggestions? I just want a basic pedometer app (or similar) for free that i can use to measure how much i walk in a day.

If you end up dropping some coin for your pedometer, can I suggest the Fitbit? They have some relatively inexpensive models and if you have a phone that supports BT4.0 and the low energy BT standard, it is fantastic device. Very small, very accurate and very easy to use. This is not an ad, just a very pleased user.

Thanks for the suggestion but at the moment i'm not looking to pay for one but i'll keep your suggestions in mind

I just had a quick look at it but it doesn't seem to have a pedometer so not exactly what i'm looking for.

I use Noom and I have no problems with it. Anyway, whatever one you use is going to hit your battery, because you basically have an app running ALL THE TIME.

Yes. Sometimes I don't even open the app for the day, and just the evening because I forget to log stuff, and find my pedometer saying it logged 3000+ steps.

Nahhh some have you to log on or log off when you finished . This is due to the accelometer is used for a lot of things. These things will trigger the app to cut on an run cause this accelometer and gyroscope is used to tell the cell towers where you are . But its a lot i would chose one just for a daily walk around a park or work out using all day wont give you a accurate reading but in the app you chose to use in the description just read down to see what it control and when you get to the bottom of the description you will see the word NOTE take caution and read that extra careful you will see something like this app will drain your battery drastically :what::screwy::banghead:
