Free task list/ to-do list app for android smartphones?

Hey,

I'm new to android (HTC) and looking for a task-list solution which is NOT an app. I stumbled upon a very quick task list on http://www.listmymind.com
. It is very nice and working for me but I still want to check for any alternatives. I really like the idea of not having to install an app, but I don't want to install a barcodescanner app only to use this site.

Any recommendations so far?
Thx

Did you phone come with an office document program? That would be the only way.

If I may ask, why are you against loading an app to do this? There are lots of good apps in the market to do this.

I don't understand the aversion to using apps. If you do not like installing third party apps, maybe you shouldn't have gone for a smartphone?

You could always log into your Google account through the browser and use their task list (or any number of browser based task lists). Otherwise any text editor on your phone can do the trick. Although I agree with the others, I don't see what the aversion to new apps is about.

There's Toodledo.com

(but most ppl look for a front-end (app) to access it from phone).

A fairly popular app is Do It Tomorrow (lists, and you can push tasks to the next day easily). :)

I suppose you could use Google Tasks (internet) but it's not very straightforward for adding lists and nesting. I have an app (frontend) for Google Calendar/Tasks that makes it nicer on the phone.

Good luck!

Not sure what your aversion to 'apps' is either. I use NoteEverything Pro for 'to do' lists. They are just check-lists so probably don't suit everyone but they work for me.
