Help freeze on boot non rooted htc one sv boost

I took my daughters phone away for a couple weeks and removed battery. when i gave it back it wouldnt boot up. it instead got stuck on htc one/beats audio white screen.

I have tried to recovery and reset factory settings to no avail.

it just reboots then gets stuck at htc one/beats audio white screen again.

I fully charged, removed charger and let it sit on the frozen screen until it died. it never moved past boot screen.

I have not modified this phone in any way.

if you havent modified it then take it to boost to look at.if it cant be fixed with a simple factory reset im not sure what else to tell you
the fact its hanging and unmodified is kinda odd. usually that only happens if a wrong boot image was flashed

you didnt take out the battery in the middle of the update install did you?

maybe someone has a suggestion,i would tell you to modify it to reflash the update software on soff but it sounds like you dont want it modified so wont force your hand in that.best of luck

That was my first instinct as well. I do believe that if you can reach the recovery then you would be able to install TWRP and then either a factory or custom rom image.

moonshine also wont work,he has 4.2.2 you can tell by the hboot.his best bet would be following my guide to unlock bootloader,flash twrp then look for my twrp thread and use eitheir the full backup i made or the debloated one.then if he wants use rumrunner to s-off but he wants simple so just running the backup thru twrp should do.cwm is not that compatiable with the k2_cl.almost right but wrong guide
 
Im thinking about a signature that proclaims my ignorance and encourages seeking more knowledgable help. As a matter of fact I have a real poor record for giving out actually helpfull advice :) I dont mind digging up a link here and there though. I am glad someone is here to save these guys from my help!
 
It's good advice but the scenes been dead for awhile.why you think I came around and contacted Russel.it's ok not to be aware.also some of this doesn't go with the k2cl model.boost it's own beast.just got to know how to tame.at least you try to stay on topic .trust me in my years I've seen really bad advice.your doing fine.just get yourself familiar with the new age bro.

honestly i dunno if this guys even still following but ya thats another thing can do.he kinda dropped out almost half a month ago

Well there are a couple of things that might be done. If your lucky someone will save you from my bad advice. I know I am probably forgetting something but I cant think of why no one has suggested using the RUU to the fellow above and it might work for you as well.

First though you need to know what version of the device you have. You can tell by your carrier or by the codename listed in HBOOT

that bit that says K2_CL ? Thats the name of your device, but it might be different. K2_PCL or some such ....

The RUU (Rom Update Utility) is dependent on what version of your HBOOT , so I cant say for sure if it will work for you ( and you may have to be S-off as well and/or unlocked--- make sure to do your research or get rescued by a guru) but here is the link for fall the RUU versions that I know of as well as all the OTA updates. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292432/

Also make sure to check the instructions that are in the previous posts of this thread cuz they might help as well :) Be sure to keep track of what you did or didnt do as well, it may become important. Well that's all I got! Hope its helpful
 
if hes latest ruu for some reason that doesnt work right.ive had to force that before breaking it out of temp and use the soff method.also if hes locked i dunno if thatll work eitheir.this is why i havent suggested it.
 
Just trying to keep em busy until the real pros show up :) like I said it never occurred to me before, but I was sure there was a reason.
