freezed superuser

can you install a different superuser app from the play store and regain root?

Good thinking. SuperSU has an option to remove other su apps...as long as you're not locked out from using it since it's a root app.

Otherwise maybe adb shell from recovery and rm current su app.

this is what I really did sir
.since kinguser is a chinese superuser I replaced it with superSu and after installing the superSu ...i go to titanium bckup and freeze the kinguser.
after that I lost the root access :dong:

How recent are your backups? Performing a factory reset will unfreeze apps (Titanium Backup Technical FAQ | Titanium Track), but you'll lose everything since your last backup (which you can of course restore once you've reinstalled Titanium).

Or if you have a recent nandroid backup (assuming you have a custom recovery) from before you did this then restoring that will undo the freeze.

Or try a different superuser app from superSU and see whether that will let you use Titanium again (least destructive option).
