Help Freezes after pulling the charger out

Every time I charge my phone, when I remove the charger from the phone the phone is unusable for about 10 seconds and then it shows the message about switching the phone off at the wall. It never use to freeze for 10 seconds but for the last 2 weeks it has done this.

Anyone know what it could be?

Also, is there a way to turn off the message that comes up everytime you disconnect from the charger that tells you to switch off at the wall?

That is a bit weird, never heard of that happening before.
As for turning off that notification, i don't think so, no.
