So the longer i have this phone (Ace 2 not rooted on latest unbranded firmware via kies) the more problems seem to arise.
It came with android 2.3 i think it was, but as that is so dated, modern apps like snapchat wouldnt let me use the front facing camera so i upgraded the firmware.
Now, a typical problem occurs and it seems completely random when it happens. For example:

Will be on an app such as Whatsapp doing a voice msg, phone freezes, i cant do anything so i put it down, after a minute or 2 it unfreezes and i get app error messages like 'such and such needs to close' so i close whichever app it says. This can range from Kik, Facebook, Whatsapp, Software Update, Samsung app, Dialer, literally any random app.
Memory Booster Lite says i always have at least 12% RAM free, but often its as high as 17% but that doesnt seem to matter.
Any ideas?
Just checked and running apps are:

facebook
whatsapp
outlook
kik

And all the android ones that have to be running.

Thanks

Had the same problem with galaxy S3. Factory reset worked for me, but after a few months the same thing started to happen all over again. Now I'm using just stock android 4.2.1 and that hasn't happened yet. My phone still had warranty so I took it to the official samsung service center and all they did was factory reset :@

To update the problem seems to stop if i turn the phone off and on, then later in the day it will happen again.
Not sure if its related to battery life? I dont use power saving or any performance tools though.
Im lost, any ideas?

Have you tried a factory reset like the other guy suggested?

There was a good post by Smokey McPot in another thread but I can't remember which one. A few people found it laggy after upgrading to JB.

There was a fix which helped, and I THINK it went like this, but can't be sure: Remove battery for an hour, replace it, run the battery down to empty so it won't even turn on, then leave the phone off and recharge to 100%, then turn it back on. See if that helps.
