Help **Freezes When Closed**

Hello,

I'm having a really weird problem with my G1 today and I can't seem to find any article similar to my problem all over the web.

So basically when my phone is slide opened (keyboard visible) it works perfectly but when I slide close it (keyboard not visible)the phone freezes and stops working. Then, if I open it again, it works.

Can anyone help me with this? I've tried both soft and hard resets.
I even did a root (problem occurred before the root) and it's still there.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yes i also have the same problem with my g1, see if you can open it up and use a can of air duster to blow the dirty electronics.
