Root Freezing issues.....

I am running the basix rom and electric sheep kernal and I've noticed that my phone locks up and freezes quite frequently, majority of the time is while I am texting. I am running 1000ghz and 200 min using set-cpu and it runs fine most of the time, but I find myself rebooting my phone at least once a day due to freezing and camera zoom fx freezes the phone as well. Is there anything I can do?:confused::confused::confused:
 
Carlos,do you have setcpu to set on boot? I myself had a load of problems when I had that checked,freezing,bootloops,to name a few.If you have it checked to set on boot take it off and see if that fixes it.I now run my phone at 600 min to 1300 max with smartass governor and havent had a problem since.You can Do what I did and set it to run at that from 5am to 1am (set it as a profile). good luck and hope that helps
 
Nini do you have apps that constantly run in the background?sometimes theirs apps that run in the background all the time,they tend to take up the ram making the phone sluggish.Try auto memory manager from the market.I have mine set at 6,8,24,30,40,50.My phone runs pretty quick with those settings in auto memory manager.I would suggest v6 supercharger but its a bit more complicated than auto memory manager.
 
even if my phone has just shut down and restarted it still would freeze and just restart. I reinstalled the rom and took off the electric sheep and it seems to be doing fine now.
