Help freezing, lagging ,high cpu

I have the note 4 verizon, non rooted, updated to 5.0.1, running go launcher, go sms, touch wiz keyboard. Otherwise basic apps, facebook, amazon, games, ect... I freeze and lag in and out of apps, especially facebook if i click on a link, forget it , sometimes i have to restart my phone. I have done all the basic checks, deleted and reinstalled apps, cleared cache partition, cleared cache through go, samsung, and app cache cleaner, did a factory reset, although its been a while for that. seems like going from an app to home screen lags a lot. not sure what to do except another reset, which i wanted to avoid. Any suggestions or answers would be great. Thank you.

Speeding up animations may help the appearance of lag.

However,if the device is actually struggling,this can actually make it look even worse.
Give it a shot,no harm in that.

Perhaps different launchers might help. Have heard some nasty stuff about the go apps.

Make sure that you haven't installed any automatic task killers, ram cleaners, or battery helpers.

Ditch Go Launcher. Nova is much smoother and has animation settings that really help with lag.
