Freezing LG Software Update

Maybe this is old news, but I got tired of getting the prompt to upgrade to firmware "F", having had so much trouble getting back to "D" after "E" nixed the tethering I use.

So... I just froze the LG Software Update app on the phone. So far so good, no bad things happened, and no annoying update prompt.

LESSON LEARNED - Do not do any updates until I check here, see what problems the other folks are having and learn from their mistakes (or benefit from their intrepid actions)

Yep no secret here, lots of us have done this. But you do have to be rooted to have the ability to do so.
