Fresh install of android on Archos tablet

I have an Archos Arnova 10b G3 and it generally doesnt perform to mg satisfaction. I also have a Samsung Tab 2 which performs brilliantly. I dont know whether its the firmware or the Archos which is slow or what but I am thinking of doing a fresh install to see if there is an improvement in performance. If not I will just throw it in the bin

If you have a stock installation of Android, then all you really need to do is a factory reset. (menu>settings>privacy>backup & restore). That will set everything back the way it was when you got it. If you've done any updates or modifications then it will revert it back to the latest version of Android that's on it now.
