Friday: automated journal login problems.

Hi,
I don't know if anyone is using the application Friday automated Journal by dexetra,saw it on playstore and thought I'd try it
Downloaded and installed on to my Nexus 7 (2012),all went well until I tried to
sign in to the app with my Google+ account as required,tried several times but keep getting the error message "parse error...please try again".
Tried uninstalling & reinstalling the application with no change.
Thoughts and suggestion welcomed.

Parse error in a login? Bad code in the app. Contact the author. (The user should never see an error message like that. The program should trap it and tell you something like "that's not a valid email address" or "your login can't include the following characters ..." or something like that.)
